JUST IN: Protest in Ibadan as Oke-ogun Polytechnic Saki Student Raped and Murdered in Akinyele

Student's Union of The Oke-ogun Polytechnic, Saki in collaboration with National Association of Polytechnic Student (NAPS), Federation of Oyo State Student Union (FOSSU) converged today at Akingbile Primary School, Akinyele Ibadan and took a protest walk tagged  “JUSTICE FOR GRACE”. The Protest walk campaign took place on 15th of June 2020 with over 130  participants walking and demanding for justice for Grace Oshiagwu an ND1 student of Business Administration of The Oke-ogun Polytechnic Saki who was raped and murdered at 3:00pm on Saturday in her parent apartment at church mission house while her Dad and the church pastor were sand filling pothole outside the church premises and her brother is teaching church members how to play guitar in the church. The Joint Campus Committee of the National Association of Nigerian Student, NANS, in Oyo State and The Students' Union Of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic will hold a peaceful walk over the incessant killing of students on Akinyele local government area of Ibadan. The decision to hold the peaceful walk was announced by the Acting Chairman of JCC in Oyo State, Mr. Fadare Blessing, in a statement made available to TOPSGIST.COM.NG. The statement read,”An injustice to one is an injustice to all. Due to an incessant and serial killing of our dear students in area of Akinyele Local Government, we dim it fit to expressed our dissatisfaction with both the local government, state government and security personnel in the state and our country at large.  On this note, the association has scheduled to hold a peaceful walk at area of Akinyele to demand for: i.
